Zusammenfassung

British Airways is seeking a technically skilled Engineer to join the Fleet Technical Support Group at Heathrow. You will support BA Mainline and Euroflyer fleets, working on Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with a shift-based pattern and access to specialist training and career development options.

You will bring an aerospace engineering background, P1/2 experience, and the ability to hold BA/EASA approvals as required.

Qualifikationen

• Essential HNC/HND in Aerospace Engineering.
• B1/B2 Licence without Type rating desirable.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Pt21 or PtM environments.
• Ability to hold CAA or BA approvals (desirable).
• EASA Part 145/Part21 approvals ability (essential).
• Strong knowledge of safety & quality management systems (essential).
• Hands-on fleet knowledge across BA types (desirable).

Aufgaben

• Improve aircraft performance using monitoring and prognostic tools.
• Analyse safety reports and recurring defects.
• Provide on-site specialist technical support with safety and regulatory focus.
• Source approved maintenance data for safe maintenance and repairs.
• Follow technical procedures to meet performance targets and drive improvements.
• Support business development and change initiatives.
• Lead technical discussions across departments for informed decisions.
• Coordinate activity at line stations to minimise delays and AOG.
