British Airways is recruiting for a Powerplant Technical Support Group engineer based at our BA Engineering HQ near Heathrow. You will provide operational support, manage safety, reliability, and cost of ownership for our engine and APU fleet, including AOG responses and technical troubleshooting.

We require solid Aerospace Engineering background, CAA/EASA approvals, and a clear track record with B1/B2 licences or equivalent, with strong problem-solving in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Aerospace engineering background required.
• CAA/EASA approvals knowledge.
• B1/B2 licence or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities to prevent and/or recover AOGs worldwide.
• Ensure safety, reliability and cost of ownership of BA engines and APUs.
• Provide technical expertise to support daily operations from BA Engineering HQ.
