Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer for the aerospace sector. The role focuses on design, analysis and validation of aircraft structural components. You will apply engineering principles to ensure structural integrity, safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading FEA analysis, designing components, reviewing specs, and mentoring junior staff while collaborating with design, manufacturing and QA teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with structural analysis and certification of aerospace structures.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural analysis including FEA to assess strength and fatigue.
• Design and develop structural components and assemblies per project specs.
• Review drawings and ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations related to structural issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare design justifications and certification documents.
