Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for an aerospace client in Yeovil, Somerset. You will act as the prime engineering focal point for a project, coordinating multi-functional teams and ensuring timely responses to customer requests.

The role emphasizes certification compliance, design integration across systems, and collaboration with external vendors. Relevant DOORS and SAP familiarity is preferred; Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Higher education approved STEM qualification.
• Minimum apprenticeship/HNC/HND/First degree level or equivalent.
• Registration as Incorporated/Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council desirable.
• Knowledge of aircraft MAA regulations.
• Ability to work autonomously with external vendors and produce requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the prime engineering focal point for a project or platform.
• Coordinate and manage tasks and responses to customer timelines.
• Interface with designers to provide design context and certification baselines.
• Ensure certification compliance plans are created and satisfied.
• Support design integration across multiple systems and manage modifications.
