Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Site Maintenance Manager to lead a resident team of over 15 engineers at an established aerospace manufacturing site in Yeovil. You will drive operational excellence, manage client relations and minimise machine downtime within a safety-focused environment.

The role requires proven leadership, budget understanding and the ability to plan maintenance activities while delivering performance improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory responsibility in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Technical or business-related qualification preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a resident maintenance team of engineers in a customer-facing environment.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with safety programmes.
• Oversee CNC production support and maintenance for aerospace components.
• Develop and execute a site-specific maintenance plan aligned with proactive maintenance processes.
• Manage revenue, expenses and profits; drive cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with employees, customers and stakeholders; conduct regular performance reviews.
