Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. seeks a Project Manager Engineer to lead fast-paced engineering and R&D initiatives within the Rapid Response Team and Advanced Development organization.

You will drive cross-functional projects from concept to prototype, accelerate innovation, and transition successful efforts into formal product programs, while coordinating with engineering, product, procurement and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex technical, engineering, product development, or R&D projects.
• Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and ambitious delivery timelines.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple engineering, technology development, and R&D projects from concept through prototype delivery.
• Drive project execution by managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and priorities.
• Enable rapid customer response and prototype development through agile project planning and execution.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Commercial Teams, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure successful delivery.
• Establish clear project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Support evaluation and prioritization of new customer opportunities and technology initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to efficient project management practices.
• Support transition of successful R&D projects into formal product development programs.
