Job summary

RTX is seeking a quality inspector to join the Repair Operations team in the US. The role focuses on dimensional and visual inspection of parts, tools and gauges, using established procedures and data.

Training and growth opportunities are offered within a state-of-the-art aerospace facility, with onsite shifts and overtime as needed. Responsibilities include performing measurements, computations, and documentation; maintaining equipment and supporting continuous improvement; and handling

Qualifications

• Inspection experience (Non- Aerospace acceptable)
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Computer skills
• Basic Shop Math

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts using procedures and data.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Compute nonconformance magnitudes and complete related paperwork.
• Follow procedures to verify dimensions and ensure Work Instructions are followed.
• Maintain inspection stamp and support continuous improvement activities.
