Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Havant is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will conduct goods-inwards and final inspections, interpret engineering drawings, and help ensure product quality to AS9102 standards.

You will collaborate with suppliers and customers, raise quality issues when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement while enjoying a supportive, innovative work environment and benefits provided by RTX.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.
• Quality Inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Goods inwards and Final Inspection of products.
• Review supplier FAIRs in accordance with AS9102.
• Create FAIR data pack to AS9102 when required.
• Liaising with suppliers and customers as appropriate.
• Reporting major quality issues to Senior Quality team.

We are looking for an experienced Quality inspector to join our team in Havant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Goods inwards and Final Inspection of products,
• Review supplier FAIRs in accordance with AS9102.
• Create FAIR data pack to AS9102 when required
• Liaising with suppliers and customers as appropriate
• Reporting major quality issues to Senior Quality team

What You Will Learn

• Training in the use of Net Inspect & Discus
  Material Review Board and quality clinic activity
• Inspection to WASP approved design data

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings
• Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• First Article Inspection (FAI) to AS9102
• Inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment
