Job summary

RTX in the United Kingdom is seeking a QC Inspector to perform hardware inspection and ensure products meet required standards. The role involves sampling inspections, feedback on non-conforming material, and supporting Programme Quality Engineers across manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings, use metrology equipment, and collaborate with stakeholders. Flexibility to work between Glenrothes and Livingston sites is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings and use metrology & inspection equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to make knowledge-based decisions to industry standards.
• Ability to manage workload with a methodical approach and good housekeeping.
• Team player who can communicate with other functions within Raytheon as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling inspection to the required standards across manufacturing areas and product lines.
• Provide feedback and engage with RCCA of non-conforming material.
• Provide workmanship support to the Programme Quality Engineers & Manufacturing team.
• Be the first point of contact on any workmanship issues.
• Engage with key stakeholders within the organisation.
• Attend team meetings.
• Flexibility between Glenrothes & Livingston sites may be required.
