Job summary

Adore Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join a precision aerospace engineering business on a permanent night shift in Romford, Essex. You will inspect complex machined parts to aerospace standards, from first-off to final inspection.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, interpreting tolerances and GD&T, and using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and thread gauges. You will maintain traceability docs and support non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Previous inspection experience in aerospace or precision engineering
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of tolerances and GD&T
• Proficient with conventional inspection equipment and documentation

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection
• Inspect complex components against drawings, specs and customer requirements
• Use micrometers, verniers, height gauges and thread gauges
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Maintain accurate inspection, quality and traceability documentation
• Raise and support non-conformance activities
