Job summary

Adore Recruitment is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a night shift at an aerospace precision engineering company in Romford, Essex. You’ll ensure components meet exacting customer and aerospace requirements from first-off to final inspection.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and thread gauges, and maintaining quality documentation, with opportunities for long-term career development in a AS9100 environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or precision engineering inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of tolerances and GD&T.
• Experience in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection.
• Inspect complex components against drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Use conventional inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges and thread gauges.
• Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.
• Maintain accurate inspection, quality and traceability documentation.
• Raise and support non-conformance activities.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues.
