Job summary

Boeing United Kingdom Limited invites applications for a 3-month Project Management Internship at the Aerospace Innovation Centre. The role supports an Aerospace Engineering Research and Technology Development Programme with industry partners and academia.

The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and drive live programme updates, assist in tracking milestones and deliverables, and gain practical experience in a high-velocity aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree in Project Management, Business Management or a related field, or attained an industry recognised project management qualification.
• Basic understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, tracking actions and supporting delivery against milestones.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement an innovative automated workflow solution within Boeing’s project management tools to support live programme updates, real-time data and project management best practice.
• Support the project management team with planning, coordination and day-to-day delivery of an Aerospace Engineering Research and Technology Development Programme.
• Assist the team with tracking project schedules, milestones, action items and deliverables to help keep workstreams on time and aligned with programme goals.
• Help coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture notes and follow up on actions with internal teams, industry partners and academic collaborators.
• Help organise and maintain project documentation, presentations, status updates and other programme records to support clear communication and effective project execution.
• Support the project management team with collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
