Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth is seeking a PMO Manager to lead PMO activities across the full contract lifecycle, from bidding to closing, reporting to the Head of PMO and collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, budget and quality.

The role requires experience with scheduling and EV management, risk management, and strong governance capabilities in a defence environment. Heathrow- or Portsmouth-based hybrid working arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace and defence projects is desirable.
• Proven track record with scheduling, earned value, risk management and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of PMO tools, methodologies, templates and documentation.
• Support governance through education and process improvement across the business.
• Manage stakeholders, facilitate governance reviews and report project status clearly.
• Lead day-to-day PMO activities and oversee project performance using KPIs and EVMS.
• Collaborate with Work Package Managers, Financial Controlling, Lead Engineers and Supply Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
