Job summary

Moog Commercial Aircraft Group, Tewkesbury, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to shape how precision‑machined aerospace components are brought into production. You will influence design for manufacture, define machining strategy, and drive process capability in a high‑spec environment.

You’ll work with design, quality and operations, contributing to NPI and continuous improvement on the shop floor, mentoring others and delivering robust, repeatable processes that meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or regulated industries.
• Hands-on with sliding head CNC machining and Star platforms.
• Understand APQP, lean manufacturing and zero-defect principles.
• Proactive continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Influence design for manufacture (DfM) and set machining strategy.
• Drive process capability and quality on complex components.
• Support NPI and production readiness with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor others and promote best practices on the shop floor.
