Job summary

Parker Meggitt in Fareham is seeking a Precision Assembly Operator to perform precision pick and join tasks on aerospace components. The role requires excellent manual dexterity and experience working with small parts under a microscope, ensuring quality and traceability.

You will prepare, assemble, inspect and process components, following engineering drawings and work instructions. The position offers a day shift, permanent contract and a competitive pay package within the aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Experience with microscope assembly or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to follow engineering drawings and instructions.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out precision pick and join operations in line with engineering drawings, work instructions and quality requirements.
• Work under microscopes and magnification equipment to prepare, assemble and inspect small components.
• Prepare components for joining, brazing, welding and further assembly processes.
• Complete production paperwork, inspection records and traceability documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and report any quality or process concerns promptly.
