Job summary

Parker Meggitt in Fareham is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to build, modify, rework and test electronic assemblies for aerospace products. You will use small tools, perform assembly tasks and conduct basic testing to ensure products meet standards before release to customers.

Responsibilities include building sub-assemblies, recording test results, performing basic rework, and maintaining documentation and systems input.

Qualifications

• Electronic manufacturing background.
• Experience in PCB rework and soldering (surface mount).
• Good with small tooling.
• Able to work with documentation.
• Willing to flag issues.
• General mechanical and electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate processes and to build and test sub-assemblies in accordance with procedures and instructions
• Carry out basic rework and modifications in accordance with relevant instructions
• Complete test reports and other relevant documentation
• Conduct basic pass / fail test routines
• Carry out finishing operations prior to shipment to customer
• Maintain input to business information systems as appropriate
