Job summary

Position Summary

The Role:

We are looking for a Precision Assembly Operator to carry out precision pick and join activities on aerospace components. This role requires excellent manual dexterity and experience working with small, delicate parts under a microscope. You will be responsible for preparing, assembling, inspecting and processing components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, traceability and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out precision pick and join operations in line with engineering drawings, work instructions and quality requirements.
• Work under microscopes and magnification equipment to prepare, assemble and inspect small components.
• Prepare components for joining, brazing, welding and further assembly processes.
• Complete production paperwork, inspection records and traceability documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and report any quality or process concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in microscope assembly or other precision manufacturing environments.
• Excellent hand skills with the ability to work on small, delicate components.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

• Experience with tack welding, micro-welding or inspection equipment would be advantageous.
