Job summary

Eaton Bedhampton site in Havant, UK, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a 130-person facility focused on hydraulic and electric system components for aerospace OEMs. You will own operational performance, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and financial results.

You will provide strategic leadership across manufacturing, materials, quality, EHS, HR and continuous improvement, aligning with customer commitments and growth initiatives. Strong change leadership is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience.

Responsibilities

Manage all operations activities to meet customer requirements.
Assess performance indicators and take actions to meet schedule, cost, quality goals.
Invest in training, capital equipment and technology to maintain leadership in manufacturing.
Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation for consistent operation of all functions.
Provide leadership in support of continuing improvements in quality, productivity and delivery.
Support product design through new product introduction to meet development and delivery times.
Address Environmental, Health, and Safety issues per regulations and policy.
Develop and maintain cost reduction programs across operations.
Develop budgets and resource plans to achieve delivery and financial objectives.
Coordinate with corporate initiatives to drive best practices across Eaton operations.
