Job summary

Eaton's Lakeside facility seeks an experienced Production Leader to drive overall manufacturing management and continuous improvement. The role focuses on lean deployment, safety, quality, and on-time delivery while leading production teams to achieve financial and strategic targets.

You will champion Lean Manufacturing, EBS and ECIS methodologies, coach supervisors, and coordinate with engineering, program management and supply chain to meet NPI objectives and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience.
• Good understanding of Eaton systems and LEAN concepts.
• Knowledge of quality and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to direct cross-functional process improvement teams.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100 or QS9000 standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead and direct all production activities to meet customer requirements with safety, quality and on-time performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop production Supervisors and teams to build a high-performance culture.
• Drive plant profit plan by improving labor productivity, capacity utilization, and inventory performance.
• Provide leadership for Lean Manufacturing, Eaton Busi­ness System (EBS) and ECIS across manufacturing and support functions.
• Lead continuous improvement activities including Kaizen events and value stream improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability requirements and MESH standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain and Quality for New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team for strategic planning and execution.
