Job summary

XCEL Aerospace Ltd. seeks an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team on a late shift (Mon-Thu 2:00 PM–12:15 AM). You will perform dye penetrant inspections (FPI) per specifications and maintain records for traceability.

Required: EN4179 Level 2 (Liquid Penetrant), NADCAP experience, and ability to read complex drawings. Benefits include health care, EAP, pension, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• NDT experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specs.
• Experience in NADCAP-approved NDT facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform dye penetrant inspection (FPI) on aerospace components per customer specs and drawings.
• Conduct daily inspection equipment checks and calibrations for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed inspection records for traceability and compliance.
• Identify and report non-conformances and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure NDT facility meets NADCAP standards and customer requirements.
• Manage consumables stock and arrange replenishment as needed.
• Comply with health and safety regulations for chemical handling and disposal.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
