Job summary

Leonardo UK offers an Aerospace Mechanical Technical Support Apprenticeship (Level 3) in Yeovil, combining college study with hands-on placements at Leonardo Helicopters. The four-year scheme covers design, development and testing with rotations across engineering departments.

You will gain practical skills while continuing your academic learning, supported by a dedicated apprentice team and a clear progression path into final placement areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs with Maths at B/5 and overall minimum grade C/4.
• Interest in engineering and STEM subjects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in placements across Leonardo's Engineering department.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, design, development and test elements of mechanical engineering.
• Rotate through Structural Design, Rotor & Transmission Design and Materials Laboratory.
• Support STEM outreach activities in schools and communities.
