Job summary

Leonardo offers an Aerospace Electrical Technical Support Apprenticeship in the UK, combining on‑the‑job training with academic study through Yeovil College. Over four years you will rotate through engineering placements, from electrical design to avionics, with an induction at Leonardo and Yeovil College to set expectations.

You will split time between college and site placements, increasing hands-on experience each year.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at a minimum of a C/4, including GCSE Maths at a minimum of a B/5.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4-year apprenticeship across Leonardo's Engineering department, moving through placements as business needs and skills develop.
• Experience departments such as Electrical Design, Electro-magnetic Environmental Effects, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Manufacturing Centre and Avionics.
• Attend induction at Leonardo and Yeovil College to establish apprenticeship requirements and expectations.
• Split time between Yeovil College and Leonardo Helicopters placements, increasing work placements in years progress.
