Job summary

Leonardo offers an Aerospace Electrical Technical Support Apprentice (Level 3) in Yeovil. The 4-year program combines college induction with on‑the‑job placements across Electrical Design, Avionics, and Manufacturing, building practical electrical engineering and testing skills while supporting STEM outreach.

You’ll rotate through departments, grow knowledge of engineering processes, and progress with study time protected. Strong GCSE results and BPSS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at a minimum of a C/4, including Maths at a minimum of a B/5.
• Security clearance requirements and BPSS vetting apply for UK roles.

Responsibilities

• Grow knowledge of an engineering business and related processes.
• Develop practical engineering skills across electrical/avionics disciplines.
• Support early careers activities and STEM ambassador work.
• Participate in multiple placements across Electrical Design, Avionics, Manufacturing.
• Assist in planning, design, development and test elements of electrical engineering.
