Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters UK offers an Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Degree Apprentice (Level 6) in Yeovil. The five-year scheme includes part-time college study, work placements across Engineering, and EPA completion for the BEng.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in CAD/AM/composites and participate in various design and test activities within Leonardo Helicopters. Applicants should be 18+, meet UCAS and GCSE requirements and demonstrate strong STEM aptitude, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with 96 UCAS points (or equivalent) including Mathematics and at least one STEM subject.
• GCSE Maths at grade B/5 and five GCSEs A–C including English, Maths and science.

Responsibilities

• Support aerospace engineering teams across placements.
• Assist in design, analysis and testing activities for helicopter systems.
• Participate in multiple cross-disciplinary placements during the degree apprenticeship.
