Job summary

QinetiQ Amesbury is seeking a Manufacturing Materials Controller to manage BoMs, material masters and MRP within the Aerospace Centre of Excellence. Based at the Amesbury site, you will support the Production Manager to ensure manufacturing activities meet CAA Part 21 G and AS9100 requirements, collaborating with Project Delivery Teams and Manufacturing Engineers.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering background (HNC level) with production planning experience in an aerospace environment, and

Qualifications

Experience in production/manufacturing planning.
Familiarity with aerospace engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Act as SME for material control within the AEC, mentoring and guiding teams.
Review design data to ensure consumables and parts meet lead time and cost constraints.
Create and maintain Manufacturing BoMs in the MRP environment with Project Delivery Teams.
Create Material Masters for Purchased and Manufactured parts.
Create Work Orders in line with process and regulatory requirements.
Implement changes to Manufacturing BoMs with robust Change Management.
