Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Material Controller to join the Operations team in Sunbury-on-Thames. The role focuses on receiving, kitting, goods inwards, and maintaining strict traceability of materials to support aerospace-quality standards.

You will work within a busy operations environment, reporting to the Logistics Manager, and contribute to on-time repair turnaround while following quality procedures and using the MRP system as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using an MRP system is desirable.
• Strong time management and workload prioritisation skills are essential.
• Awareness of aerospace standards, especially traceability and materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers.
• Kitting and issuing components and materials to the shop floor to meet repair turnaround schedules.
• Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking & acceptance of deliveries to stock.
• Control and maintain traceability of all materials within operations.
• Ensure all paperwork complies with the current quality standard within BMS.
