Belcan is seeking a highly analytical Material Analyst in Oxford to optimise inventory, support supply chain operations, and drive continuous improvement in materials and logistics.

You will analyse stock holdings, run MRP reports, manage Min/Max levels, and partner with finance and operations to reduce costs while maintaining service levels. Strong Excel, SAP, and data analytics experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP and INVU in highly regulated environments.
• Strong Excel, data modelling and inventory analysis skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyse inventory levels and stock performance to drive stock optimisation initiatives.
• Run and review MRP reports, raise supplier purchase orders, and maintain Min/Max inventory systems.
• Conduct detailed inventory and aged stock analysis, developing mitigation strategies alongside finance and operational teams.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators including delivery performance, stock adequacy, and customer service metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
• Review and improve existing materials management and logistics processes.
• Maintain and support SAP and other departmental systems.
• Produce management reports, presentations, and data-driven insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support commercial, sales, and bid activities by providing materials and logistics data where required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with data modelling, inventory analysis, stock modelling, and business analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience gained within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or related industries.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience with paperless document management systems such as INVU.
• Experience within highly regulated engineering or manufacturing environments.
