Job summary

You will manage material demands across a complex operation, coordinate with planning and suppliers, and help maintain readiness for flying programmes. Applicants should have strong SAP experience, excel in reporting, and be adept at building stakeholder relationships in a regulated aerospace

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Material Support, Supply Chain, Procurement or Materials Management environment.
• Strong SAP experience, including material management and reporting activities.
• Experience managing and escalating material demands, shortages and delivery issues.
• Ability to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience attending operational planning and review meetings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Experience producing reports and analysing supply chain performance data.
• Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or aerospace environments would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related business systems.

As a Material Support Specialist, you will support the management of material demands across a complex operational environment, ensuring maintenance and flying programme requirements are met efficiently. You'll play a key role in coordinating material availability, escalating critical supply issues, and supporting operational readiness through effective supply chain management.

Working closely with operational and maintenance teams, you will be responsible for monitoring material requirements, managing supplier performance, attending daily planning meetings, and helping to resolve issues impacting delivery schedules. This position requires a proactive individual who can build strong customer relationships, identify risks, and provide effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
