Job summary
Safran is recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Graduate to begin a three‑year fixed‑term programme in Wolverhampton. You’ll rotate through core manufacturing engineering areas, gaining hands‑on experience in NPI, new technology, continuous improvement and shop floor operations.
Throughout the programme you’ll work with mentors and receive structured development and regular reviews to build the skills for a successful engineering career at Safran.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Engineering or Digital discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, passion for engineering innovation and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Complete structured rotations across Manufacturing Engineering functions.
- Support the introduction of new products and manufacturing technologies.
- Assist in developing manufacturing methods and processes for new aerospace products.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency and performance.
- Analyse manufacturing data and support problem‑solving activities.
- Provide operational support to help achieve business and production objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, operations and quality teams on business‑critical projects.
- Gain practical experience within manufacturing and shop floor environments.
- Build technical knowledge across aerospace manufacturing processes and systems.
- Take ownership of your development and career progression.
