Job summary
Safran is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Graduate to join our Actuation Systems hub in Wolverhampton. Over three years you will rotate through core manufacturing engineering functions, gaining hands-on experience in NPI, process improvement and shop floor operations.
You will work with seasoned engineers on introducing new technologies, solving complex manufacturing challenges and developing your technical leadership in aerospace manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Achieved, or on track to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in an Engineering or Digital discipline.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and interest in engineering innovation.
Responsibilities
- Complete structured rotations across Manufacturing Engineering functions.
- Support introduction of new products and technologies.
- Develop methods and processes for aerospace products.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Analyse manufacturing data and support problem-solving.
- Provide operational support to meet production objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and quality teams on key projects.
- Build practical experience in manufacturing and shop floors.
- Grow technical knowledge of aerospace processes and systems.
- Take ownership of development and career progression.
