Job summary

Adore Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer for an aerospace precision engineering business in Romford, Essex. This permanent role offers the chance to work on 3, 4 and 5axis CNC programming and to influence manufacturing processes.

You will develop methods, setups and fixtures, select tooling and drive improvements to production, collaborating with production, quality and engineering teams on new components. Aerospace experience and HyperMill would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience in a precision engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of 3, 4 and 5axis machining.
• Experience developing manufacturing methods and setup strategies.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• HyperMill experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise 3, 4 and 5axis CNC programmes.
• Develop manufacturing processes, routings and setup methods.
• Design and implement workholding and fixture solutions.
• Select tooling and support process improvement activities.
• Drive firsttime-right production and reduce manufacturing inefficiencies.
• Liaise with production, quality and engineering teams on new and existing products.
• Support the introduction of new components into manufacture.
