Job summary

PDQ Engineering Recruitment & Training Services Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter Operator for a precision engineering facility in Southall, Middlesex. You will work on 3, 4 and 5-axis Mazak machines, programming online and offline, to manufacture aerospace-grade components.

Ideal candidates have strong multi-axis programming skills, experience with VISI or hyperMILL is advantageous, and a methodical approach to tooling and fixturing.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC milling programming and setting experience.
• Experience with 3, 4 and ideally 5-axis machining.
• Mazak experience preferred; online/offline CAD/CAM programming.
• VISI and/or hyperMILL knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC centres.
• Work with Mazak mills including i-600, J-500, 530, 430 and 410.
• Develop and prove machining processes from planning to manufacture.
• Create documentation, process drawings and checklists.
• Support NPI and robust manufacturing processes for new parts.
