Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol, invites applications for a Level 4 Manufacturing Engineering apprenticeship starting September 2027. The role covers wing and sub-assembly processes, with exposure to design to production hand-off and future technologies.

Qualifications

• A level in Maths and Physics at C or above OR Level 3 engineering qualification (BTEC Level 3 Diploma/ Extended Diploma or T level) at Merit or above
• Five GCSEs at 4/C and above including Mathematics, English Language and Science
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a technical team environment
• Interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across the wing and sub-assembly process and overview of current manufacturing process
• Work with multiple functions to deliver technical solutions
• Initiate and support team activities with Quality, Operations and other functions
• Build relationships with stakeholders across functions focusing on customer needs
