Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol, is offering a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship starting September 2027. The role spans four years, with a 35-hour week, and a salary of £23,064 plus flexible benefits.

The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience across wing and sub-assembly processes, and contribute to cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• A level in Maths and Physics at C or above.
• Level 3 engineering qualification (BTEC Level 3 Diploma/ Extended Diploma or T level) at Merit or above.
• Five GCSEs at 4/C and above including Maths, English Language and Science.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills; desire to work in a technical team environment; willingness to develop and apply skills; ability to articulate ideas and solutions; openness to feedback and collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across the wing and sub-assembly process.
• Use technical, project management and communication skills to complete tasks.
• Initiate and support activities with Quality, Operations, finance and other functions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions with customer focus.
