Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Winsford is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter to join our onsite maintenance team. You’ll deliver essential servicing across diesel-powered generation systems and switchboard components, with hands-on training and opportunities to broaden skills in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The role emphasises safety, accurate documentation, and strong teamwork in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship.
• Experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team.
• Good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Mechanically assemble switchboards for a major programme.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to standards.
• Work with diesel power rail power packs.
• Collaborate with team leads to meet quality, delivery and cost expectations.
• Maintain safety, documentation and shop floor efficiency.
