Moog Inc. in Wolverhampton, UK, is seeking a Lathe & Hone Aerospace Operator to work onsite and refurbish precision aerospace components to exacting standards. You will contribute to producing high-spec parts for critical aerospace applications.

You will set up Colchester lathes and Sunnen honing equipment, read drawings, select tools, and perform in-process and final inspections while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining safety and quality.

Competenze

• Experience operating Colchester lathes and Sunnen honing machines.
• Background in precision engineering, aerospace, or high-specification manufacturing.
• Ability to work confidently to tight tolerances, often within microns.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate Colchester lathes and Sunnen honing equipment.
• Machin e aerospace components to extremely tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and honing stones.
• Carry out in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and CMM where applicable.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain quality.
