Job summary

Magellan Aerospace, Llay Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Labourer. The role is a full time permanent position based in Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB, on a 24/7 shift pattern including days and nights.

The site is unionised and works with Unite the Union. Primary duties include ensuring efficient movement of parts, housekeeping to 6S standards, and checking FLTs and vans for safety and readiness.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent including Maths & English
• Good verbal and written communication
• FLT License essential
• Excellent Visual Requirements (passed a vision exam)

Responsibilities

• Must comply with Environment, Health and Safety legislation and company policies.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance to site HSE standards.
• Check FLTs are fit for purpose and report deviations to Line Manager.
• Move palletised materials to point of use and dispose waste appropriately.
• Maintain 6S standards on the shop floor and assist with crane operations when required.
