Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in aerospace or related discipline.
• Proven aerospace certification experience, specifically initial airworthiness.
• Comprehensive understanding of EASA CS, UK CAA CAP, or equivalent regulations.
• Experience in certification planning, compliance assessment and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal regulatory communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement certification plans and strategies for initial airworthiness.
• Analyze airworthiness standards and regulations for full compliance.
• Review designs, test plans and reports for conformance to certification requirements.
• Coordinate with design, test, quality and production teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and present certification documentation for regulatory submission.
• Participate in audits, inspections and certification reviews by authorities.
• Monitor certification progress and mitigate risks.
• Stay updated on changes in airworthiness regulations and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of certification processes.
