Job summary

Human Design Group is recruiting a Human and Organizational Factors and Ergonomist consultant for our UK operations in Broughton. You will integrate human factors into the design and assessment of aerospace systems, working with engineers, quality and safety teams.

The role requires a Master in Ergonomics or related field and 1–4 years experience in industrial environments. Fluency in English is required, French is a plus. Permanent, full-time position with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Master in Ergonomic, Human Factors or related field.
• 1–4 years related experience. Industrial / factories related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate human and organizational factors into the design and assessment of technical and organizational systems in aerospace factories.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (engineers, quality, safety, etc.).
• Perform ergonomics / HOF diagnosis.
• Analyze activity, workstation, and organization (trades, processes, tools).
• Formalise ergonomics and user needs requirements.
• Define functional specifications.
• Analyze HOF risks and identify root causes for incidents or quality issues.
• Define action plans and manage creativity workshops.
• Conduct user tests on industrial systems (jigs and tools).
• Lead the development of human factors activities and promote their importance.
