Safran is seeking a Flammability Certification Engineer for the Cwmbran, South Wales site. You will plan, compile, and maintain flammability certification documents, including test plans, test reports, and compliance evidence.

The role involves supporting certification activities with regulators and OEMs, reviewing drawings for compliance, collaborating with airframe manufacturers and authorities, and developing documentation standards for ongoing projects and regulatory submissions.

Qualificações

• A relevant degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong experience with documentation in technical/regulated environments.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory processes is desirable.
• Excellent MS Office skills and strong communication abilities.
• Able to translate complex requirements into clear documentation.
• Collaborative mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Experience with aerospace or interior certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, compile, and maintain flammability certification documents including test plans, test reports, and compliance evidence
• Support certification activities by contributing to data packages for submission to regulators and OEMs
• Review and approve engineering drawings and design changes for compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as airframe manufacturers and regulatory bodies
• Represent the company in meetings with customers, authorities, installers, and at project milestones
• Provide input into the creation and continuous improvement of technical processes
• Maintain and develop documentation standards to support ongoing projects and regulatory submissions
