Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is seeking a Technical Field Sales Engineer to cover Northern England and Scotland, with a home- and field-based setup. You will identify new customers, build relationships and create opportunities across Aerospace, Defence, Space, Rail and advanced engineering sectors.

You will engage with engineering and procurement decision-makers, understand technical requirements and drive opportunities from initial enquiry to quotation and closure, while receiving product training

Qualifications

Technical or engineering background is required.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Commercial ambition and the ability to build and manage relationships with customers.
Willingness to travel within Northern England and Scotland for customer visits.

Responsibilities

Develop new customers and markets across the territory.
Meet engineering, procurement and commercial decision-makers at potential accounts.
Understand customer applications and technical requirements.
Develop opportunities from enquiry through quotation and negotiation.
Manage the sales pipeline and build strategic customer relationships.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support customers.
Attend customer visits, exhibitions and industry events.
