Job summary

Safran Seats, a global leader in aircraft seating, is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead, develop and continuously improve the CMS across product and programme configurations. The role ensures alignment with QMS, group processes and regulatory requirements, and drives change control with robust governance.

You will support Windchill PLM deployment, optimise configuration management, and partner with Change and Programme teams to embed CMS across delivery. Experience in aerospace preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering, or HNC/HND (or equivalent).
• CMII Level 6 certified with strong CM principles knowledge.
• Proficient in CATIA V5, SmarTeam and PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and maintain the CMS for configuration management across product, programme and business configurations.
• Ensure CMS aligns with Group/Branch processes, QMS requirements and regulatory standards.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process with effective Change Control Boards (CCBs).
• Drive standardisation of configuration and engineering change practices across groups and projects.
