Parker Meggitt is seeking a multi-skilled Composite Laminator to work on prep, lay-up, bagging, and curing of carbon fibre components in a precise, high-technology aerospace environment. You will interpret engineering drawings and work with moulds to produce high-precision parts.

Role requires 2+ years laminated composites experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision on a shop floor, adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a composites laminator.
• Experience in Aerospace or high-technology industries preferred.
• Able to follow complex engineering drawings and moulds.
• Strong problem solving and creative thinking.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out tool preparation and apply release agent.
• Kit and lay-up operations with correct material orientation.
• Vacuum bagging techniques and breather bag kit.
• Cure operations using autoclaves, ovens and vacuum pumps.
• Adhere to quality procedures and safety regulations.
• Attend shift meetings and communicate issues to team leaders.
• Escalate issues promptly.
