Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a CNC Machinist WFL Operator to join the Derby-based manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating advanced machining platforms to produce shaft components for major engine projects, while meeting weekly targets and customer requirements.

You will follow Rolls-Royce Technical Instructions, use inspection tools, interpret various drawings, and work within a cross-functional team to improve manufacturing processes and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting drawings, customer drawings and specifications.
• Proactive, patient and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work to Rolls-Royce Technical Instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high-quality machining.
• Operate inspection equipment including machine probing, micrometers and plug gauges.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications to ensure parts meet standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and meet plans.
