Job summary

HVL Solutions Ltd in Pinxton, Derbyshire, is hiring an experienced CNC Operator with welding and fabrication skills to join our workshop team. The role involves machining and fabrication to support projects in the water and gas industries, with focus on quality and safety.

You will operate CNC machinery with Siemens controls, read engineering drawings, weld and fabricate components, inspect parts, and maintain tools and workshop. Independent work and team collaboration are both important.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery with Siemens controls.
• Practical welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
• A strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery fitted with Siemens control systems.
• Manufacture components accurately from engineering drawings.
• Carry out welding and fabrication work.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Work closely with our engineering team to complete jobs safely and on time.
• Maintain machinery, tools and a tidy workshop.
