Job summary

Reed in Devizes, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced CNC Turning Operative to join a growing precision engineering team delivering critical aerospace and power generation components.

You will operate CNC turning machines and a range of manual, conventional and CNC equipment, ensure precise production and inspection documentation, and carry out daily machine checks. The role is permanent full-time (39 hours) with a bonus scheme, enhanced pension, private healthcare and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC turning machines.
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of precision engineering and machining practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components.
• Work with manual, conventional and CNC machinery.
• Complete production and inspection documentation accurately.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report faults.
• Follow Health & Safety, quality and 5S standards.
• Communicate progress and provide shift handovers.
