Job summary

ion-tec Ltd in Sheffield is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join a growing precision engineering team. You will set and operate CNC turning centres to produce aerospace components, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality while developing your skills with ongoing training and support from an experienced engineering group.

Qualifications

Engineering apprenticeship or time-served machining experience.
Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.
Good understanding of precision engineering and working to tight tolerances.
Pride in producing quality work and a willingness to keep learning and developing.

Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC Turning Centres to produce precision aerospace components.
Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure components meet exact specifications and quality standards.
Manufacture complex, safety-critical parts to tight tolerances.
Continuously develop your machining skills through structured training and exposure to advanced manufacturing techniques.
Contribute to a culture of quality, continuous improvement and teamwork.
