Job summary
Rubicon Recruitment Agency in Poole is seeking a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer or Setter/Operator for precision aerospace components. The role covers setting, programming (offline/online), and turning parts to drawing specifications using FANUC controls.
Applicants should have a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship, proven CNC Mill/Turn experience, and knowledge of FANUC. Edgecam is a plus, Nakamura familiarity is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Completed recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls.
- Strong working knowledge of FANUC controls.
- Solid experience in the aerospace industry.
- Edgecam programming experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls.
- Programming CNC Mill/Turn lathes offline and online (Programmer/Setter/Operator role).
- Producing turned components accurately to customer drawings and specifications.
- Inspecting your own work against drawing and SPC requirements.
- Keeping your work area to a high 5C/5S standard.
