Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to manufacture high-precision aerospace components. You will set up and operate CNC/NC machines, including 6-axis mill-turn lathes and 6-axis high-speed milling machines, to engineering drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings and layouts.
• Time-served apprenticeship in Machining or related discipline.
• NVQ Level 3 preferred.
• Experience with CNC turning and milling.
• Understanding of 5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and NC machining equipment.
