Teledyne CML Composites, based in Bromborough, is recruiting a CNC Machinist to produce aerospace components by reading engineering drawings and setting up Five Axis and Three Axis machinery. The role involves reading CAD models, ensuring tolerances, and maintaining equipment in a fast-growing composites business.

You will work with multi-axis CNCs, implement precision processes, and contribute to quality standards aligned with ISO9001/AS9100. Time-served apprenticeship required.

Qualificações

• Multi-axis CNC machining experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience working to ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 quality approvals.
• Background in aerospace/defense/automotive sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload machining fixtures.
• Set up and program Five Axis and Three Axis machines.
• Use measuring equipment (micrometres, Vernier, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges, Renishaw probe).
• Maintain and clean machines and tools.
• Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, multi-axis) for aerospace components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and specifications.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure precision and tight tolerances.
